Metamorphosis

My reactions from this story were that this is a weird book. Gregor turned into a beetle and I couldn't relate to that. At first I thought this was all a dream until Gregor said it wasn't. If I were his family, I would be scared of Gregor and run away. I thought that it was sad that Gregor died. I wish the family would have found him instead of the cleaning lady. I was mad when the family said that they were tired of helping and they were happy that he was dead. Gregor worked his whole life to help his family and they owed him. I believe that it was the family's fault that Gregor is dead because they didn't help him change back.

This I Believe

I believe that life is like a basketball play. It is like a basketball play because sometimes things work out as planned and sometimes they don't work out as planned. Also you can't do things alone. Most of the time people need other people to help them in life just like a basketball play needs five people to complete it. An example is that people have their parents or guardians to help raise them. At school, teachers teach them things that will help them for the future. Everything has a plan or play.

Election

I am so happy Barack Obama won the presidential election. This was my first year voting. I believe this is a big change for our country and it is a good change. I believe that Obama will get us out of the hole we are in and there is a brighter future for us.

This is a historic time for our country. One fact that I learned was that there were many more people who voted this election year than any other election year before. I think that more and more people should vote because one person is in charge of the country that you are living in and you want it to be a good one.
